MVC basketball coaches believe David Ragland will succeed in Evansville

Street. Lewis – David Ragland arrived at the Missouri Athletic Club for the Men’s Basketball Media Day at the Missouri Valley Conference on Wednesday as he often does in any room he enters, with a big smile on his face to express his happiness for the days ahead. He wore the same purple tie as he had done for his introductory press conference, a floral pattern partially hidden behind a black suit with a new purple belt.

He joked that he was not defeated yet. This summer was a honeymoon period, after all.

Ragland sat at the podium for his conference-wide presentation, recalling a letter butler coach Thad Mata had sent him about the state of college basketball before he left for the University of Evansville.

“At the end of the day, basketball is basketball,” Matthew told him. “Recruiting is recruiting. At the end of the day, they are the people you do it with.”
