MLB Props Picks – Our Best Bets on September 7th

Aaron Judge and Jose Altuve have been on fire lately, which is why we’re targeting them at the MLB player props on Wednesday. We also like Dean Cramer to cause some trouble for Blue Jays visitors.

Backing Aaron Judge has been a very profitable bet for bookies to back an MLB player this season and I’m still amazed at the reasonable numbers available to the top hitter in baseball.

I put my money on Judge again while also betting on a proven Astros hitter, and tackle a young pitcher from Orioles to pass a low number with the best MLB player bets for Wednesday, September 7.

Judgment Day

Aaron Judge has been impressive this season and leads the bigs with a total of 330 bases, 34 more than Paul Goldschmidt who is in second place.

He’s been hitting the ball somehow stronger lately with a best exit speed of 95.8 mph in MLB, jumping as high as 98.4 mph over the past two weeks according to EV Analytics.

Judge went 2-for-3 on the board with Homer (54th MLB leading position) and doubled last night hitting .478 with five zingers and a pair of doubles over his last seven games. Today, he and the Yankees are hosting the twins who will send Joe Ryan up the hill.

The sophomore has been solid this season, coming in at 3.88 PM, but came off a rough ride against the Red Sox and allows speculators to make good contact with his barrel price rating in the bottom 20 percent. With the judge placing 0.695 against right-wingers like Ryan, he bet over 1.5 on his overall bases.

Aaron Judge Prop: more than 1.5 total base (+110 in DraftKings)

MLB betting analysis covers

Crop creamer

The Toronto Blue Jays and the Baltimore Orioles are wrapping up four games at Camden Yards tonight. In his third year in the seniors, Dean Kremer is putting on a solid season for Baltimore, turning into a 3.22 ERA with a 3.38 FIP and 1.21 WHIP across 16 starts.

Although the 26-year-old has a low strike rate and doesn’t shoot very quickly, his 3.5 total strikes seem pretty low – especially when you consider the excellent movement he has on his court.

Kramer has hit no fewer than four players in 10 of his last 14 runs, which includes an August 16 outing against the Jays where he cheered up six players across seven innings.

Dean Kramer prop: more than 3.5 strips (-110 in FanDuel)

All in Altuve

Astros II captain Jose Altuve has been on fire, cutting 369/.431/.662 for a total of 43 bases over his last 16 games. Altuve now sits 18th in the main positions with 235 and is in a good place tonight with Houston hosting Rangers and starting bowler Cole Ragans.

The Ragans is a rookie with only four career appearances to his name, and he struggled at Minute Maid Park last month, giving up five runs before getting the hook midway through the fifth.

The Rangers Bullpen is also the fourth worst major coin, according to THE BAT which should be a favorable match for Altuve.

The five-time Silver Slugger winner boasts a 0.683 against southern staples like the Ragans, and he also tends to do better at home with a sluggish score of 0.564.

Jose Altove Prop: more than 1.5 total base (+102 in Sugar House)
