Little League® hosts First Ever Girls event with game experience on October 15th

distance 75The tenth Minor League Baseball Anniversary® World Championship This is August and exciting summer softball which concluded with Most Viewed Little League Softball® World ChampionshipLittle League® International will welcome the softball community to the popular game Howard C . Stadium for the first time Girls event with game experience On Saturday 15 October 2022.

“This summer has been filled with amazing baseball opportunities for kids across the country, and we look forward to offering another unique experience this fall in the home of the Little League,” said Ashlea Nash Miller, Little League. Softball Development Manager. “We hope this event will inspire future generations of the game and provide participants with a unique opportunity to learn from Division I softball players and play on the famous stadiums of the Little League World Series.”

Launched in coordination with Penn State University and the University of Maryland, as well as MBI Camps, and Girls with game experience It will feature a two-hour teaching clinic for females ages 9-14, led by representatives from Division I universities within the Big Ten Conference, starting at 10 a.m. ET. After the clinic, all registrants will have the opportunity to watch their coaches enter the field for an exhibition game at 4:30 p.m. between the two programs at Howard J. Lamade Stadium, home of Minor League Baseball Series Championships every August.

The registration fee for those interested in attending the softball clinic is $80 and will cover the clinic T-shirt, admission to the Little League World® museumLunch and special seating at the game show.

The exhibition game between Maryland And the Pennsylvania state 4:30pm is open to the public and there is no entrance fee to attend. Seating inside the stadium, outside of those designated clinic registrar seats behind the house board, will be available on a first-come-first-served basis and no ticket is required. Fans looking to attend the game will be asked to enter the Little League International complex through the entrance on East Mountain Avenue and will be directed to park in the parking lot outside Volunteer Stadium, along Borderline Road. Concessions will be available, and visitors are encouraged to stop by Little League main gift shopIt is located in the lobby behind the Lamad Stadium.

The unique all-day event is named in celebration of Little League Girls with Game initiative Launched in 2019 to honor all the girls and women who made Little League what it is today and those who inspire a future generation of female participants at every level.
