Blue Jays vs. Orioles Odds, Picks & Predictions Today – Manoah makes his mark

Taking the hill to Toronto in this final series with Baltimore is All-Star Alek Manoah at his best. Our MLB betting picks anticipate another right-handed gem and as a result, target more than his registered support.

Tensions were high during Game 3 of this epic AL East series between Toronto Blue Jays and the Baltimore Orioles.

Baltimore reclaimed a 9-6 win last night after losing both games with a double header on Monday. Now, the O’s will try to earn a separate streak but to do so, they will have to bypass one of the best and most intense starters in baseball, Alec Manoah.

It should come as no surprise that today’s best bet includes the Toronto All-Star, but will Manoah be able to lead the Geez to victory as the favorite down the road?

Blue shots vs. Orioles and predictions

You can just feel the heat of the post-season racing. The Blue Jays and the Orioles had a slight feud during last night’s game, and you knew the start of the night Manoah would be in the middle of it. Tonight, he took the ball looking to extend the Jays’ 3.5 game lead on the O for the final spot on the Wild Card in the AL.

Manoah suffered a bit of a lull mid-season after the All-Star break, but his big right hand bounced back and found good things to lead to this match. Manoah only gave up twice of his winnings in 13 hits while 22 hitters hit 20 1-3 innings of action.

This stretch from the start lowered his Manoah Era to 2.48 and he now limits opponents to 0.211 on average.

Now, Manoah knows his teammates need to make a big night out of him after playing three games in the past two days while last night Mitch White scored just seven times and taxed a bullpup. No one is better than Manouh to be in this position.

The right-hander is not only considered the most fiery Jays player, but he is also as reliable as it comes when it comes to working in the depths of ball games. Manoah is averaging 6.27 rounds per starter this season.

And while the Orioles have proven to be a poor group in the second half of the season, they are still 17th middle in middle strikes and 16th in the OPS and wRC+ when facing right-handers this season.

At the end of last night’s game, Manoah just sat in the Blue Jays’ lair and watched the Orioles celebrate on the field. He’s ready and focused for this match and we’re supporting him to go deeper into this match.

Manoah has over 18.5 points in each of his last starts and we get extra money doing it again. Involve me.

best bet: Alec Manoah over 18.5 wins (+108)

The Blue Jays opened this AL East game with 150 home favorites with Manoah expecting to hit the rubber against Orioles on the right Dean Kramer. But in a surprising move, she brought O’s back to its previous position Tyler Wells From the list of injured, we are now scheduled to start tonight.

Sportsbooks didn’t see much of a difference between Kremer and Wells as Jays were still roughly -140, -145 a favorite on the road when the possibilities reopened this morning.

Wells hasn’t fired since July 27 due to slash fatigue but was playing fairly well before the injury, owning 3.90 ERA and 1.11 WHIP over 20 starts. However, his last four starts before the injury saw his numbers drop slightly.

Now, the Wells might be a bit of an opener on this with the Kremer still being their primary pitcher due to the fact that Bullpen Orioles have been taxed throughout the series. Kremer has reached 3.22 ERA and 1.21 WHIP this year.

With that uncertainty, combined with a tough match against Manoah and the Blue Jays squad starting to shoot all cylinders again, all of a sudden, that streak made sense.

Over / Under Analysis

This game’s total hit the plate at 7.5 and even with a pitch change by Baltimore, the number remains until late Wednesday morning. Now, I don’t have a strong feeling for this total, but if I had to move in one direction, it would probably be towards The Over.

For starters, the Blue Jays lineup is starting to heat up again. Toronto has been running 5.33 runs per game over its last nine competitions, and while many Blue Jays are in rhythm at the moment, there is arguably no one in baseball hotter than Bo Bechet.

The Blue Jays Shortstop is a ridiculous 16-28 (.593) with five home runs over six games to start September.

Even if Wells had just been used as a fake opener, he would probably still have some rust to get rid of after not being in the big leagues for about six weeks. This is not a lineup you want to try to do that against.

Plus, while Manoah has been fantastic most of the season, the Orioles have caused him quite a bit of trouble, hitting him for seven runs in 12 strokes during the last 10 or 2-3 rounds of action against him.

start pitchers

Alec Manouh (13-7, 2.49 A.M.): It looks like Manoah has found his All-Star shape over his last three starts, allowing him only two runs he’s earned over the last 20 rounds 1-3. His offensive hits also saw him, hitting 29 hitters in his last 26 runs.

Tyler Wells (7-6, 3.90 PM): This is Wells’ first start since she experienced a tilt stress in late July. Prior to the injury, Wales had been going through a bit of a tough correction, reaching a 7.11 ERA and 5.59 FIP during his last four starts.
